Along with Arthur Morgan's journey, Sadie is one of the only members Arthur knows is loyal to a good cause. By the end of the credits, Sadie is a bounty hunter simply looking to bring justice along the American southwest in one shape or another.   Josiah Trelawny is on and off member of the Van Der Linde gang. This means that loyalty isn’t one of his defining characteristics. Josiah will usually leave the gang for long periods of time, only to come back when he was a new profitable   The faster we approach its one-year anniversary, the less we even hear about the game. False reports of a story DLC made fans excited, though still very little attention was drawn to the game recommendations. It's ironic to see more news and excitement surrounding DLC content for GTA Online than any of Red Dead 's updates, which tend to get mocked and ignored. What happened? You would think a game ripe with fantastic graphics, awesome gameplay, and a spellbinding narrative would be enough for players to be immersed, yet it appears this very immersion is what has elicited so much―or, should I say, so little—backl   Plenty of games have incredible graphics. Open-world games especially can be some of the most engrossing to move through and study the surroundings. But no other game that I know of has a Cinematic Camera. And they wouldn't need them, necessarily. But Red Dead Redemption 2 wants you to forget that it's a game. Which is possible. Because the environment is drop-dead gorgeous. When you play an open-world game, you usually want to explore because there is a host of tasks left undone that you want to finish. But Red Dead Redemption 2 asks you to seek out the undiscovered, with a slack jaw at the beauty around   In Uncle’s defense, he does become a redeeming character in Red Dead Redemption 2’s epilogue. However, throughout the game, no one can ever stand him. Uncle is the victim of much harassment from various gang members, but most of it is earThe problem with Bill is that because Dutch helped give his life meaning and purpose he's loyal to him to a fault. Even when it's clear as day that Dutch and Micah are steering things in the wrong direction, Bill never serves any push back.Him being in Dutch Van Der Linde's ear for most of the game led to the many mistakes and mishaps the gang experienced along the way. Micah Bell wasn't looking out for anyone but himself and was willing to let others die just so he could get his. The rat of the Van Der Linde gang belongs at the bottom of every list.Charles and Sadie Adler are arguably the closest pairings among the gang right behind Arthur and John Marston or Micah Bell and Dutch Van Der Linde. The two of them show that good people and outlaw tendencies aren't mutually exclusive things.   Heralded as one of the best video game stories of all time, Red Dead Redemption 2 takes you down a path of hardship, one that is unrelenting and pockmarked with violence. While your choices in the game may amount to nothing more than a morality meter, this doesn't quite affect the overall playthrough. And, with a variety of stranger missions and side quests to follow, there's still nothing more memorable than the experiences bequeathed in the original. One of the most fascinating mechanics in Red Dead Redemption 2 are random events, wherein the player can choose to assist an ailing passerby or ignore them. This, however, becomes a consistent nuisance as you travel throughout the wide-open sandbox. It's almost as if the game itself is trying to pry you away from your own experience at every t   What hasn’t been said about John Marston yet? While John is the main protagonist of the first game, he takes a supporting role in the game’s sequel. As a young naive member, John does make questionable decisions here and th   Most games maintain a steady stream of information that floods the screen. Little markers delineating new destinations. A compass to coordinate movement with your position on the map. Reminders for the quest that you're undertaking. Indicators of health, stamina, or any other status that might be necessary. Everything is designed to assist the player and ensure that you're not lacking context. Red Dead Redemption 2 throws that out the window. You're going to die. You're going to get lost. That's part of being in the Wild West. Get used to it. And that perilous freedom means so much in an open-world g   After the first Red Dead Redemption , many were unsure if Rockstar could outdo themselves with its new protagonist. To our delight, we were proven wrong. Arthur Morgan is a great protagonist due to the journey we experience with him. As Dutch’s right-hand man, Arthur becomes more and more unsure of the path they are tak   When you have to travel in an open-world game, speed is essential. Style, though, is something oft-overlooked. With that in mind, let's pay homage to the humble horse. The beasts are faster than humans. Horses look much cooler when they gallop. A man riding a horse looks suave. A man that isn't riding a horse is just, horseless. And let's not forget that you can ride them while using the Cinematic Camera. Because nothing says traveling in style like riding a horse while admiring the panoramic views. Horses are the b
