An elaborate fetch quest that is dressed up pretty nicely, No Good Deed shows that tried and tested mission loops can still be improved considerably if the game makes an effort to make these tasks as engaging as possible. Such is the case with players interacting with Dr. Alphonse Renauld in Rhodes, who explains to Arthur that his wagon and supplies have been stolen by a g   Red Dead Redemption wasn't the only Rockstar game to receive excellent additions in story DLC. From LA Noire to Max Payne 3 , Rockstar kept a habit of giving players quality story content on top of their original titles for years. The pinnacle of Rockstar's story DLC though, has to be from Grand Theft Auto IV. Like Red Dead 2 and GTA V , GTA IV has a story as good as any film, but Rockstar built upon that story in unique and imaginative ways through The Lost And Damned and The Ballad Of Gay Tony . While one installment has you playing as a biker struggling with the collapse of his gang, and the other a bodyguard for a celebrity night club owner, both run in parallel with GTA IV , adding depth to the story and life to Liberty City. GTA IV' s story DLC fleshed out its world, creating an experience with more depth and character to it. The content was so good that it makes you wonder what Rockstar might have been able to come up with if they would had taken story DLC for GTA V seriously. Unfortunately, it seems like that window has come and gone, and the potential has fa   Story DLC provides Rockstar with the opportunity to build on the world of its stories, giving fans of its distinct narrative style a chance to dive even further into their favorite worlds, and return to their favorite games. Although online multiplayer certainly brings the opportunity to have an absolute blast with other players who love the same game walkthroughs, there is something special about experiencing the world of a story that you love from another point of view. When you're fully invested into a game's story, especially one from Rockstar, you'll be interested in hearing anything and everything that adds context to the narrative or builds upon the lore of that given world. It can often times become intoxicating, and like most intoxicating activities, you really want to experience it again once it goes a   Look, I get it. GTA Online is a milestone in online multiplayer gaming. It gives you unparalleled action, an incredible amount of game types, and the creative freedom to come up with some pretty spectacular moments of gameplay. It has been running strong for nearly six years now, and new content is still being added all of the time. Despite all of this, online gameplay is not Rockstar 's best s   The Van Der Linde gang consists of many characters. Some are developed better than others. Then there are the ones that really stand out, for better and for worse. Even though we may hate some of these characters, that isn’t to say they are bad characters. In fact, they are completely three-dimensional and their motivations are in line with their actions. Here are five members of the Van Der Linde gang that we love, and five that we can’t st   During the introduction mission of the game, players control Arthur Morgan as he and his gang go about a recon mission in the area around their winter base. They come across their rival gang in the O'Driscoll boys outside of a random house and it quickly turns into a shoot   Holding one's family hostage to make them do your dirty work is morally corrupt, and deserving of some good old fashion Wild West justice. Coincidentally, the two's first and last meeting were both on a riverside where one party was fish   However, it's not until players investigate the house that they realize the true nature of Jeremiah's business. They can confront him about his participation in the slave trade and either kill him or leave him be. It's one of the many ways that the game shows the heinous nature of man and how no one should be trusted at face va   "LENNY!" What’s not to love about Leonard "Lenny" Summers. As one of the younger members in the Van Der Linde gang, Lenny is an example of loyalty and dedication to the group, especially to Arthur. It’s unfortunate that his story is a tragic one. Lenny lost his father to a group of drunk prejudiced   Most games maintain a steady stream of information that floods the screen. Little markers delineating new destinations. A compass to coordinate movement with your position on the map. Reminders for the quest that you're undertaking. Indicators of health, stamina, or any other status that might be necessary. Everything is designed to assist the player and ensure that you're not lacking context. Red Dead Redemption 2 throws that out the window. You're going to die. You're going to get lost. That's part of being in the Wild West. Get used to it. And that perilous freedom means so much in an open-world g   Red Dead Redemption starts with John Marston nearly meeting his maker at the hands of Bill Williamson. He foolishly heads to the fort where Bill is hiding out and tries to take him head on. After recovering, he goes to Mexico to do the job properly and succe
