Without knowing exactly how much time is between Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom , it is hard to say precisely. However, this young Goron Champion, Yunobo, could be a powerful companion and friend to Link as he is already known to possess strong powers. As a descendant of the Goron Champion, Daruk, he has the ability of Daruk's Protection, although he still found himself in situations in BOTW where Link had to come to his aid. The Spinner was an item that Link could ride. Such a role has otherwise been occupied almost solely by Epona, Link's trusted horse companion. Although it has only gotten one real appearance thus far, the Spinner's unique qualities could make it a useful tool in Link's next advent   In Breath of the Wild , Link has a variety of abilities at his disposal to help him navigate the world and defeat his enemies. The majority of these come from the Sheikah Slate, a mystical artifact left to him by Princess Zelda. With it, he can create bombs, manipulate metal, freeze water into climbable pillars, and even stop time for enemies or inanimate objects. Other powers come from the spirits of his friends, the former Champions who lost their lives fighting Calamity Ganon 100 years prior. From what's been shown of Tears of the Kingdom so far, it's uncertain if these powers will return, but thankfully there will be others to take their pl
