From the looks of TOTK 's trailers, this ability should prove very useful. BOTW comes with many boulders that players can roll at enemies, and vice versa. Being able to send them back where they came from sounds very fun and should make for some creative combat strategies. This ability may also become a recurring feature in whatever replaces BOTW 's shrines as its unique function has a great deal of potential for puzzles based around it. However, its uses for exploration seem lacking, and it may not be very good for traversing Hyrule outside certain niche situations such as the one in the trai
There are a few different reasons why Wizzrobes are annoying. Firstly, they almost always float in the air, making them difficult to hit with melee attacks unless players can hit their weak points and knock them to the ground. They also have a habit of disappearing and forcing players to wait while they move to a new position. There's also the matter of their elemental powers, which can freeze, burn, or electrocute Link and prevent him from performing any of the attack combos that BOTW 's combat system permits. The advanced versions are even more annoying since they can alter the weather and summon Chuchus to run interference. The most annoying out of all of them, however, are the electric variants, since they cannot be destroyed in one hit like the other two and because their attacks make Link drop his gear unless he has protective effects act
Another of Link's new abilities in Tears of the Kingdom is something that will allow him to return objects to a previous position. This power also comes from Link's new arm in the BOTW sequel , and has been shown twice so far. The first time was in the E3 2021 trailer, where Link used it to send a spiked ball back at some enemies, and the second was in the latest Tears of the Kingdom trailer, where he used it to ride a large rock up through the air. Both times, the world turned black-and-white, but everything continued to move around the affected object. This ability looks very similar to BOTW 's Stasis and serves a similar function, and it's possible that it's a new or advanced form of
The Treasure Octorok is a special variant of the normal Octoroks, one that buries itself in the ground and has a fake treasure chest on its head instead of a bush or a rock. If Link approaches it, it leaps out at him and proceeds to run around at great speed, and may bury itself back in the ground after some time. The chests on BOTW 's Treasure Octoroks are impossible to move using Magnesis, which is a good way to distinguish them from normal ones. If this chest is struck from a distance, the Octorok will pop out and leave itself vulnerable to an attack from an arrow or Remote B
As Link explores the BOTW sequel's transformed skies , he will be able to use at least three abilities that have been shown in trailers so far. There are other new items for Link to use, such as a large device that shoots flames, but this looks like a temporary weapon and not something that he will have access to all the time. Though it's not confirmed, it would appear that at least some of Link's powers comes from his new arm, which could mean that it will serve a purpose similar to BOTW 's Sheikah Slate. This arm has been a subject of great interest since it was first revealed, and from what's been shown so far, it will have no small amount of importance to both story and gamep
There are many different kinds of enemies in BOTW , almost all of which serve Calamity Ganon. The main ones are Bokoblins, Moblins, Chuchus, Octoroks, Lizalfos, Wizzrobes, and Pebblits, in addition to some humanoid enemies like the members of the Yiga Clan. There are also stronger enemies that act as minibosses, such as Lynels, Hinox, Talus, and Molduga. All of them vary in strength and rarity, and BOTW 's Master Mode DLC added a few new variants that can't be found in the main game. When Link vanquishes them, they drop useful items and materials that he can use to upgrade his armor, but once the Blood Moon rises they will return to menace him once ag
While Link and nintendo Zelda innovation will obviously be making a return to the main cast, there are many other characters that fans would like to see. Thankfully, it isn't uncommon for characters to make return appearances. With the odd timeline of Legend of Zelda games, it's also possible to reuse old characters with new incarnations, leaving a wide variety of possibilities o
There are a number of objectives, both official and unofficial, in Breath of the Wild . There are a total of 76 different side quests to complete, some of which form extended questlines, in addition to 42 shrine quests and the 15 main quests. There are also 120 shrines, where players can complete challenges in order to obtain Spirit Orbs and rare loot. Players can also seek out a grand total of 900 Koroks in various hidden spots across Hyrule to exchange their Korok Seeds for more gear slots. In addition, things like minigames can offer a fun way to kill time and ignore Ganon in BOTW , and players can even add their own twists to the game for an additional challenge if they so w
