There are a number of objectives, both official and unofficial, in Breath of the Wild . There are a total of 76 different side quests to complete, some of which form extended questlines, in addition to 42 shrine quests and the 15 main quests. There are also 120 shrines, where players can complete challenges in order to obtain Spirit Orbs and rare loot. Players can also seek out a grand total of 900 Koroks in various hidden spots across Hyrule to exchange their Korok Seeds for more gear slots. In addition, things like minigames can offer a fun way to kill time and ignore Ganon in BOTW , and players can even add their own twists to the game for an additional challenge if they so w   Pebblits may not be the worst enemies to fight in BOTW , but they're still rather annoying and shouldn't show up in Tears of the Kingdom . Part of the reason is that their attacks knock Link down when they land, and Igneo and Frost varieties will also burn or freeze him, respectively. They also typically come in groups of three, and while it's easy to defeat them by throwing them, Link moves very slowly while holding a Pebblit, so one of them can easily get a hit in while he's taking care of the oth   Link and Zelda are obvious must-haves that possibly do not even deserve a spot on the list. Not only are Link and Zelda both shown in the trailers for Tears of the Kingdom , but they are also the main characters in the series. However, it is still quite possible that their roles could see some changes from the norm in this new story. Mainly because Zelda won't actually be a princess this time around, and it will be interesting to see if Nintendo leans into that change in Hyrule's leadership and what ripple effects that could cre   The big objectives such as conquering the Divine Beasts, collecting every memory scene, and finishing out the main questline by defeating Ganon and saving Princess Zelda are things that players may have done numerous times before. However, finishing every small objective in BOTW might not be something they've done so often. There's no reward for completing the game to 100%, but it is a nice challenge and no small accomplishment. The time leading up to TOTK 's release is a good opportunity to do things that players still have left in BOTW , and even if they don't have a particular objective, going back and playing through games before sequels release is still very   Pebblits are smaller versions of one of BOTW 's miniboss monsters, the Talus. Pebblits come in a few different varieties depending on where they're located; Igneo Pebblits can be found in volcanic regions such as Eldin, Frost Pebblits reside in snowy areas such as the Hebra Mountains, and Stone Pebblits are found throughout Hyrule. Each one will drop one piece of ore when defeated, with each variety providing different kinds. Although it might seem like defeating BOTW 's Pebblits is hard work given only a few select weapons can do any damage to them, players can kill them very easily by simply picking them up and throwing them, or by using a Remote Bomb or Bomb Ar   Before Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom _ releases, some players may want to go back and do everything they've left unfinished in its predecessor, _Breath of the Wild . There's a massive amount of things to do and see in BOTW , some of which are easy to overlook or difficult to complete, and there are still secrets being discovered in BOTW 5 years after its release. Tears of the Kingdom releases on May 12 of 2023, leaving plenty of time for players to go back and scour Hyrule for everything they might have mis   Time and time travel are prominent aspects in Zelda games, even putting aside The Legend of Zelda series' split timelines , so it's far from outside the realm of possibility for it to show up in Tears of the Kingdom . Age of Calamity especially brings the possibility of time travel that much closer with its story of an alternate dimensions Zelda Great Calamity and a time-traveling robot. However, it's not certain that Link will travel to the past and stay there. There are other possibilities, such as short quests where Link is temporarily transported to the past, or ones where he experiences it as a flashback similar to the memories in BO   There's no better way to begin a revisit of The Legend of Series than with the first story in its saga, and Skyward Sword’s story and lore present players with plenty to take note of before playing TOTK . Not only are BOTW ’s Goddess statues the very same statues of Hylia that appear in the series’ prequel, but Princess Zelda’s struggle to connect with the Goddess in BOTW may circle back to the lore that was introduced in Skyward Sword . More importantly, TOTK ’s trailers have confirmed a return to the Sky world above Hyrule , so fans of Skyward Sword will likely want to see how this area has changed in the centuries since the Era of   Once the sequel to Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild _ - tentatively called _Breath of the Wild 2 - comes out, characters from another Zelda game, Twilight Princess , could make an appearance.
