King Bulblin is a minor antagonist in Twilight Princess . He's the one who first kidnaps the children from Kakariko Village and indirectly sets up the rest of the plot. Link battles him many times throughout the game, both on horseback - with King Bulblin riding Lord Bullbo - and on foot. He's a loyal servant of Zant, and his Bulblin minions frequently act as minor enemies on Link's quest. Although he may seem evil, during his last encounter with Link and Midna, he gives them a Small Key and joins their side, stating that he was simply following whoever was strongest as it's all he's ever kn   Considering the godlike power of the Twili’s ancestors and their Fused Shadow with regard to the rest of the Zelda timeline, it’s likely that the royal family of Hyrule and its allies were pressed to find a way to combat the power of the Demon King after the Interloper War came to an end. Hyrule’s ancient period of technological advance first mentioned in BOTW ’s 10,000-year-old legend may have been a result of the efforts of The Legend of Zelda 's Sheikah tribe to protect the land from his evil during this chaotic period. This would place the creation of the Divine Beasts and Guardians much closer to the era of Skyward Sword than previously expected, likely sandwiching BOTW ’s original Calamity between Skyward Sword and every other game on the timel   Ocarina of Time is often considered to be the definitive Zelda game as it introduced much of the series’ most important lore while simultaneously splitting its timeline. Ocarina ’s use of time travel via the Ocarina of Time, the Master Sword, and the Door of Time opened the path to the Sacred Realm, allowing Ganondorf to enter and claim the Triforce. Depending on the outcome of Link’s final battle against Demon King Ganon, the timeline splits into three distinct branches, any of which could be relevant again in TO   These are two sets of different dragons and are very different from each other apart from representing the element of their region. Skyward Sword 's trio aids Link by teaching him the Song of the Hero. Whereas the Breath of the Wild trio flies over Hyrule damaging anyone that comes too near, though striking a certain part of the dragon will give Link a useful item to strengthen his g   In Breath of the Wild , there are cameos from Twilight Princess and other past Zelda games in the form of special armor in the DLC. These include Midna's helmet and the infamous Majora's Mask. They may be a small detail, but they're at least partial proof that the events and characters of previous games are present in BOTW 's universe. Where exactly BOTW fits into Legend of Zelda 's split timelines is unclear, but it's widely regarded to be at the very end of one of them or a united timeline, so almost any character from past games could theoretically appear in BOTW   In Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild , there are many annoying enemies that shouldn't return in its sequel, Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom _ . Some foes such as Bokoblins and Moblins have already been revealed in past trailers, but certain others have been thankfully absent so far. _TOTK is set to release on May 12 of next year, leaving plenty of time for more trailers that may reveal how many of BOTW 's obnoxious enemies are in its open world when it comes   Perhaps the most obnoxious aspect, however, is that Link needs BOTW 's special armor with fire immunity to pick up an Igneo Pebblit without being burned, and ice immunity to touch a Frost without freezing. Both of these only grant full immunity with a complete set that's been upgraded repeatedly, meaning that a great amount of work and item farming is required to make Igneo and Frost Pebblits unproblematic. Using Fire or Ice Arrows on them can negate their elemental effects, but these are highly valuable and not worth using on such minor enemies. Overall, Pebblits are a nuisance that Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom _ does not need, and hopefully it won't have them or any of _BOTW 's other annoying enem   Zelda Amiibo Figures 's timeline starts with Skyward Sword , making it a prequel to every other mainline title in the franchise. After the Goddess Hylia sacrificed her immortality to wield the Triforce against Demise, she was reincarnated as the mortal Zelda in the cloud city of Skyloft. After Demise’s resurrection was thwarted by her and Link, however, he cursed their bloodlines to be eternally plagued by his mal   Not much is known about the Interloper War mentioned in Twilight Princess , but its placement on the official Zelda timeline may have some deeper implications for the series when combined with the lore about BOTW ’s two Calamities. Assuming that the Zonai truly are the ancestors of the Twili people sealed away to end the Interloper War, then it’s possible that this group was among the first to attempt to revive the Demon King after Demise was sealed away in Skyward Sword . While the vague legend about the Twili’s origins leaves plenty of room for interpretation, it’s possible that the Interloper War has since become known as the First Great Calam
